Remote Control Caddy
I needed a place to keep my remote controls, but couldn't find anything in the shops I liked/that was cheap enough. I had some yarn left over from my sofa throw/cushion projects, so figured I could make one.

A search on the Ravelry pattern database revealed very few options, so I set about making a pattern up from scratch.

It only seemed fair to document the process, and write up the pattern I created for others to use, if they saw fit. So, clicking on the link below should, if it works, allow you to download the pattern PDF!

Mp3 Player Wrist Cuff

I needed a wrist cuff to put my mp3 player in when I go running, but couldn't find anything suitable on here, so made up my own using scraps of Sirdar Supersoft Aran I had left over from other projects. Since it works so well, I've written up the pattern I used in case anyone else wants to have a go.

Crocheted Uterus

I wanted a crocheted uterus pattern to make a jokey gift for a friend who had recently undergone surgery to remove an ovarian cyst. I couldn't find anything I liked, so adapted the best pattern I did find.

Easy Kindle Cozy

After struggling to get to grips with Judy's Magic Cast On, I abandoned my efforts to knit a cabled cozy for my new Kindle and designed myself a quick and easy crochet cover.

Tea Party Matinee Gloves

I needed a new pair of lacy fingerless gloves to wear to a LRP event, but couldn't find a pattern I liked. So I designed a new one! I really like how they've turned out.

Minion handwarmers

I wanted a quick and easy project to occupy me over Christmas, and an idle search of my stash revealed the perfect combination of colours to make a pair of Minion gloves. I couldn't find a pattern I liked for the yarn weight I had (DK) so I improvised one.
