52 Photos in 52 Weeks - 25% complete!

I haven't blogged about my 52 week photo challenge every week, as some weeks have been a bit slow on the photography front. Grey, miserable days do not make for good photo conditions! Neither does being so busy there's no time to get out and about and take decent shots.

But we're a quarter of the way into the year now, 13 weeks into the challenge. So I thought I'd do a quick round up of the weekly photos so far!

Kitchen grease

Lanterns

Circles 3

Pizza

Baby blanket

Rainbow squares in progress

Spring!

Hunting

Rainbow stripes 2

Sunset

Perfectly cooked

Leaf or alien?

Chaplain

While they are not all fantastic shots from a proper photography perspective, I am for the most part happy with my photo choices. I don't know if my photography is improving, but I'm certainly learning a bit more about which settings to use for what. That Space Marine Chaplain figure in the 13th photo was taken using the Macro Zoom function that I discovered a couple of weeks ago.

Week 14 has only just begun, but I have a feeling this is going to be the photo of the week this week:

Bugs!

You clearly have a "good eye" as my dad says. Your work is brilliant. I love the lanterns and water drops. I can't wait to see more.

  6. The sunset I was so lucky to get. It was the only day when it looked like that, and I just happened to have my camera with me!

Nice photos. My favourite has got to be the ripples.

Did you paint the Space Marine Chaplain? Becuase I was very excited to find a knitting blog with Warhammer on it! I'm currently making my boy a knitted scaft with the Warhammer double headed eagle on it!

  9. Alas, the Chaplain was painted by my boyfriend (he's much better at it than I am, so is painting my Space Marines for me). I will be featuring more miniatures soon, when I get a chance to sit down and take proper photos of them.

Am glad at least one person reading the blog is interested in it!
