Today’s theme is Do Something Different. There is no set topic. Eskimimi has challenged us to find a new way of blogging about our craft, be it a video-blog, a wordless post, or whatever else our imaginations can come up with!
I've gone for an audio slideshow:
Don’t forget, this post is part of KnitCroBlo Week, search in Google for “2KCBWDAY5” to see how everyone has interpreted this unusual blogging challenge!
Your gran was ace, simple as!
ReplyDeleteGood lord you have a great voice, I would listen to you reading the phone book. Your Nan was adorable and made some well loved knits.
ReplyDeleteThat was FABULOUS! What a wonderful tribute to your Gran, and the slide show is just super. Great job!
ReplyDeleteWonderful dedication to your Gram! That yellow outfit was AMAZING!!!
ReplyDeleteThis was wonderful!! What a great tribute to your Grandmother it brought tears to my eyes!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm glad you liked it. I'll admit I was on the verge of tears by the time I was done recording.
ReplyDeleteI'd forgotten how intricate it was until I got it all out of the box. All those tiny cables! Incredible stuff. Thanks for watching!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching!
ReplyDeleteShe was awesome. There are so many other amazing things I could say about her, but I wanted to keep this all about the knitting.

ReplyDeleteThanks! I guess having a generic "posh British accent" comes in handy now and again!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully told and I really enjoyed this post. Thank you so much for sharing- great to hear your voice too!
ReplyDeleteI love this slide show, it's great to hear your voice and how much your Gran inspired you. Those Sindy dolls were brilliant. I have no idea where mine went to, and none were dressed as beautifully as yours were.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed! I had lots of fun going through my box of Sindy things. In fact, I'm not sure I'll be able to pass them on when the time comes!
ReplyDeleteHaven't watched your slideshow yet, am going to wait till I get home from work and can put the sound on as well.
