Year of Projects update 25th March

Can you believe it, this is the last Sunday in March? That means we are three quarters of the way through the Year of Projects! The big question is of course, are we all three quarters of the way through our lists?

Once I discount the many projects I removed from the list because I either fell out of love with them, or realised I wouldn't have the time for, my progress chart looks pretty healthy! Only two projects on the list unstarted, only two projects still sitting as WIPs (I am counting the two projects still in need of blocking as finished for the purposes of this chart). Almost 75% complete, which is exactly where I should be!

I am a few steps closer to starting the final major project on the list as well. I purchased and downloaded the pattern for Eleonora earlier in the week, and after browsing the selection of yarns available in John Lewis have decided to use Rowan Wool Cotton. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to buy the yarn until we've moved house, as there isn't room for it here and I won't have time to start knitting on it yet anyway. So this one will probably get cast on in May, and will be my rush to the finish line project!

In the mean time, I guess I'd better get on with finishing the Cherry Wrap and Hypernova!

  1. Must check out making the chart, very cool graphic, though I want to see your projects too.  Since my count on the ghans for donating are undetermined, thoughts on how I might count?  Enjoy the day and congrats on being where you should be at the 3/4th's point.

  2. Now that is clever of you....I didn't really make a hugely long list when I started out as I wasn't sure what I was capable of, however look out the next YOP! I have added some bits, but could do with some more to challenge myself, must get on to it.

Have a good week....when d'you plan on moving, is it already in the bag?

  3. Your pie chart looks like you're making very good progress indeed. I'm in denial so I daren't chart my progress. It might be too disheartening :)

I'm really impressed by how well you are meeting your goals, such an inspiration! Also, pie charts always make a blog post better.

  11. Yes, still finding time to knit and crochet. We don't officially move till the 21st April so the packing is still being done at quite a leisurely pace!

  13. More than a little afraid to look back at my original YOP list as I think I've deviated beyond repair!  Great progress that you're making.  The Eleonora is a lovely pattern and looking forward to seeing your WIP when you cast on.

  15. What a great way to represent your YOP list!  You certainly got lots done from that big pie slice.

  16. Wow. I don't dare break my stats down that far! You are doing brilliantly. My crafting mojo has been knocked for six recently so progress is very limited, but hey, on the bright side, I'm getting a lot of cycling done....
