Merry Christmas!

A Very Merry Christmas to all of my readers!

The advent calendar is full!

I spent ages hunting for string yesterday to get the cards up properly.
Then I realised I had a massive pile of yarn I could use instead!

The tree is filled with presents, and we can't wait to open them! Luckily, in this house we have
a tradition of opening presents on Christmas Eve, as soon as it hits midnight.

Home baked croissants for breakfast is another tradition here.

I hope you've all been good, and Santa brings you
everything you wished for!

  2. Home-baked croissants?! Now that is an excellent tradition.  I love your advent calendar and cards-on-yarn, too. (and I know exactly what you mean about looking forever for string and then thinking duh, the yarn pile.  I've done much the same thing!)

I hope you have a wonderful holiday! :)

  3. We don't make them completely from scratch, we get this pre-rolled tube of croissant pastry from the supermarket that you just cut into triangles and roll up! We usually only have them on Christmas Day, but they were on offer this week so we had them today as well.
